Nintendo’s Big Brain Academy series will receive a new game this December 3, 2021 on Nintendo Switch. Like its predecessors, this is a puzzle video game that will evaluate and measure the brains of the players based on their performance.
Play together in 4-player Party mode, improve your Big Brain Brawn score in solo challenges, and have fun online with other brains in Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain! comes to the Nintendo Switch family of systems on December 3, 2021.
For those of you unfamiliar with Big Brain Academy, the game allows you to play puzzle minigames that will challenge you in a fun and engaging way.
Mini-games include memorizing a series of numbers, identifying an animal as it slowly focuses, or helping guide a train to its target. In general, the faster you select the correct answer, the better your scores will be.
Big Brain Academy will feature up to 4 players in couch co-op matches that will see them compete for the highest score. Also, the game supports two player touch screen battles.
Get your own Big Brain Brawn score with a fun quiz. Increase your skill and speed by practicing certain activities. Of course, you can also prepare for your next multiplayer brain battle or compare scores with friends and family. Unlock dozens of outfit options for your in-game avatar, from a cat outfit to a corn costume!
The most notable feature is a reference to the game title “Brain vs. Brain.” Players can record their results, which are then shared as “ghost data” that others can compete with. This allows you to challenge other players’ scores asynchronously.
You can play against ghost data with family and friends or even with anyone else around the world. However, Nintendo Switch Online is required for online features.
