Recently, there was a big leak from Nvidia that revealed a lot of games that have not been announced. Among these games was Halo 5 for PC. However, the developer, 343 Industries, has confirmd that they have no plans to release Halo 5 on PC.
Perhaps this was for “H5: Forge”, but I can confirm that there are no plans to bring H5 to PC. We know there is some demand, but like we said before, it’s not on the cards as the studio is completely focused on Infinite and MCC. I’ll never say never, but there’s nothing currently going on.

Nvidia has commented on the list, stating that the list consisted of “speculative titles, used only for internal tracking and testing.” So leaked games may never come to fruition.
Halo 5: Forge was released for PC in 2016 for free, which included the Forge map editor and multiplayer support for custom games. However, neither the game’s campaign nor the full multiplayer matchmaking has been released for PC, which is what the leak was referring to.
At the moment, 343 is working on Halo Inifinite, which was released in December, as well as ongoing support for The Master Chief Collection.
Note that Brian said that 343 recognized the demand for Halo 5 for PC and that “never say never”. But if Halo 5 comes to PC, it will be some time after Halo Infinite.
For now, Halo fans will have Halo Infinite to wait, which will be released on December 8, 2021, after being delayed due to criticism of the game’s graphics. There were rumors that it will be delayed until 2022, but it appears that 343 Industries is determined to release the game this year.
